Pelikan R400 Rollerball – Green striated – Old Style. Green striated body with black cap. 140 X 13 mm. FP: Pelikan – W-Germany. The pen is in mint condition. Hardly used at all. This is the original 1980’s edition, the first rollerball manufactured by Pelikan. Recognizable with the “W-Germany” origin as well as the lack of a golden ring near the roller tip. Note also the grey color Pelikan emlblem on the cap (to distinguish the roller from the fountain pen). This was specific to the early models. The grey color is almost gone but still visible. This is a rare piece from the 1950s, what is really rare is that this piece is a New Old Stock Piece, in complete beautiful and original conditions. This piece is when Lemania produced complete Watches, not just the movement but the complete watch itself. High polished case, rose gold plated hands and Arabic numerals, radium dots. In house Movement the Lemania 3000 manual wind. Comes on a new alligator calf strap. Watch is pictured on my 07 inch wrist. In House Lemania 3000. I highly recommend you do a Full Service/ Full Overhaul take to your Watchmaker. It is not Water Resistant, do not use it for water activities. Pictures are part of the Item Description.
