VTG 1940s OLD HOLLYWOOD Rayon Satin DRESSING GOWN with ROSES & LILAC BLOSSOMS
Early 1940s STUNNING Rayon Slipper Satin DRESSING GOWN or WRAP DRESS w/Hard to Find Print of Victorian Rose Blossoms and Lilac Blooms. HEART-SHAPED Right-Handed Pocket, Padded Shoulders, Deeply Scalloped Sleeves and & portrait Shawl Collar. There are Frondy Ferns Embossed into the Background of the Satin. Original Belt, label reads “Styled by Kamore”. The snap at the waistline can be moved over to accommodate up to a 30″ waist, currently is it measured at 25″. Bust, 34-36″, Hip to 42″. Gown has moderate surface dirt from decades of closet storage, some stains (the most notable are shown, at the hemline and at the front), a fuzzy area along the inside neck seam (pic), rub w/tiny fray at neckline and two holes w/whitish smudges surrounding them at the front below the breast area that I’m sure are an easy repair with a patch from the rear. The crystal is a cut glass crystal with no marks or scratches. The Dial which is silver with black tracks and black numbers has been professionally restored. Movement is a Swiss Made 15 Jeweled ETA-735 unsigned movement which keeps good time. The watch has been professionally restored, cleaned, polished, serviced and oiled and is ready to use. Since its a pre-owned and vintage watch we cannot guarantee the watch to be waterproof. Pictures provided are part of item description.
