Vintage Old Style White Ogre Kachina by Award Winning Hopi Artist Chester Poleyestewa. Similar White Ogre Kachina by Chester Poleyestewa won best of show at the American Indian and Western Relics show in Pasadena, California in 1992. In very good preowned condition. There are some superficial wood cracks by the knees, one on the back, and one on each side of the face (pics #3-7) but overall the piece is stable with no signs of breaking. No chips or repairs. Kachina will need a perfectly flat surface to stand up properly. See pictures for more details. 19 1/4″ tall to the tallest feather, 17″ long from feather to feather, 9 wide.
