Extra large vintage Heileman Old Style Lighted bar sign. Straight from my late Wisconsin native father-in-law’s basement bar, this unique Heileman sign lets everyone know you have the “Cool Brew” at your bar. The sign is a metal box with plastic front. While my late FIL had this in his home bar, it has the size and heft more consistent with one you’d find in a commercial bar/tavern. Overall, the condition is very good. It has a few scratches on the metal box. The front has a plastic webbing with a small crack along one edge and a spot by the center Heileman logo shield where the plastic got a little pushed in. These do not detract from the appearance of the illuminated sign (see photos of these spots both illuminated and lights off) It has the original cord on it. It illuminates with a single florescent bulb and we put a fresh one in it so you’re good to go with that. The sign turns on with a pull cord. You may need to help it out by slightly jiggling the starter knob on it. It fires up every time we’ve tried it and stays lit once it’s on. The sign has 2 chains attached to it for hanging it on the wall. It’s a cool cool brew! Sign and will look awesome in your home or the home of someone you’re gifting it to. Lift a glass to Carl when you get it installed. He’d love to have known that it went to a good, beer lovin’ home.
