This offering is for a circa 1950’s Dark Green Denim Jacket from the Missouri Department of Corrections. The jacket is made of a soft dark green denim, there are no makers tags present. The original tag on the shoulder reads Missouri Dept of Corrections and Human Resources. Based on the measurements the jacket is about a size large, the current measurements are given below taken with the jacket laying flat. The jacket features a brass General zipper, epaulets, lapel style collars and belt adjusters at each side of the waist. The condition is used as seen in our photo’s. There is wear to the satin lining in the shoulder as well as scattered wear to the edges and high points of the jacket overall. The jacket is still quite nice though and it displays great.
