For sale we have an excellent Mission style Arts and Crafts rich Matt Green Frog Skin Glazed hand thrown American pot. The vase has a great simple Mission or Arts and Crafts style, look and glaze that resembles Grueby or Wheatley art pottery. This is a unsigned American thrown pot. We have no definite knowledge of the maker. We date the vase or pot to the very early 1900’s. The glaze and coloration is stunning on the entire vase and the form is simple and attractive. The color is a rich deep Matt green with a Frog skin style glaze with some glaze drips. The vase has a spider like design around the entire vase but on about half the vase the pattern is very weak. We did our best to picture the pot from all sides and view points. The vase is in excellent original untouched condition with no issues. The vase is approx. 7 in height and the body measures approx. The opening is 4 3/4. There are no chips, cracks, stains, scratches or repairs. We only see a minute glaze pop or two and some white paints flicks. We feel this is an excellent looking vase or pot for a collection of Mission style or Arts and Crafts items or for a collection of early American Art pottery.
