Offering this beautifully impressive looking classic 1940’s style ring spring microphone with art deco base. It’s an original ASTATIC D104 dynamic microphone, ring mounted and spring supported within a large 8 adjustable (tilting) ring that is compatible with any modern amplifier or mixer. The mic head is in near perfect condition with no wear or pitting on its chromed casing suspended by 8 springs. The original capsule no longer functioned, so we have upgraded with a new working moving coil capsule with lots of output and an audio profile favoring midrange frequencies, and wired with a short 3′ cable with male XLR plug. We can swap for a 1/4 male phono plug if you prefer at no extra cost. And check out that desk stand!!! A gorgeous iron art-deco base that compliments the mic and the era perfectly! Total height is 19″ with the base at 7.5″ diameter. The mic ring can also be removed and threaded onto any floor stand or overhead boom.
