A couple of cool older-style dumbbells that have been cleaned up and painted silver. We got these in a lot where everything else was handmade by the previous owner’s father, but because of how good of shape these two are in we weren’t actually sure he made these as well. They certainly look handmade though, as the handle has been pretty clearly welded to the weights themselves on both the inside and outside using very clean work. The paint is in great shape with a few scratches and dings here and there, but there is no rust and the handle is smooth textured and grips nicely without any blemishes or weirdness in the hold. You can see that the paint job on the larger part of one of the weights is not flat however; It looks like there were blemishes under it that were painted over. Whether this was an older paint job or just the metal itself we could not determine, but the paint coverage is even over it. They measure 13 inches long and have a 7 inch grip space between the weights. They are also 5 inches in diameter and weigh in right at 30 Lbs.
