Up for grabs is…. A very cool vintage accessory Vacuum gauge made in the USA by Accurate Co out of Indianapolis, IN. This dates from the mid 60s and I will include a photocopy of the ad page from the 1965 Accurate Gauges catalog. (shown in pics) This was from the same makers of the Faria and Rotunda gauges and is of similar style and quality. Can be rotated for top or bottom mount. This was used but is in great shape for the age. There is No cracks or dings and the chrome is super clean with No pitting or dents. (see pics) It was tested and works great. Overall a very good genuine era correct accessory for the collector or a great addition to your vintage ride. See all 9 photos for close-ups. So-Cal Speed Shop Sacramento. SO-CAL SPEED SHOP SACRAMENTO. IS PROUD TO BRING YOU THE FULL LINE OF TRADITIONAL AND GT2 HOT ROD PARTS. So-Cal Chrome And Stainless Steel Ladder Bar Kit 43 1/2. Ladder bars are measured from the center of the rear housing hook-up point to the center of the front hook up point. The vertical distance between the upper and lower rear clevis holes is 5-3/4. The ladder bars will be chrome while the clevises and hardware are polished stainless. Compatible with So-Cal’32 frames and K-member kit (not included). There’s no doubt about the wisdom of the early Ford’s rear triangulated (wishbone) suspension. This tried and true design served hot rodder’s well until the early 1950’s and the advent of open drivelines and splitting of the stock wishbone. Of course the stock wishbones weren’t designed to work like that so they bent or, even worse, broke and were eventually discarded for other suspensions. Meanwhile, in the 1970’s, at Blair’s speed shop we were building hot rods and revisited Ford’s wishbone system. However, in place of the stock wishbones, we fabricated tubular ladder bars that were located wide on the rear end housing and mounted at the front as close together as possible. This triangulated system proved ideal for the street as well as drag and lakes racing. Over the years we’ve installed this style of ladder bar on hundreds of hot rods without a single problem.
