THIS IS NOT A VAILLANCOURT CHALKWARE CHESS SET. Pieces weight about 1 – 2.5 oz each and may be a resin material. Looks to be hand painted but cannot say for sure. Pieces are sized from about 2.75″ – 4″ and are in great condition. Secured in foam inside case. Case is wooden and hinged. The chess board top is a printed paper. Measures 16″ x 16″.
