Antique RARE English Carved Lion Barrel Style Captains Chair STUNNING to say the least. Solid, constructed of tiger oak wood in a thickness of at least 1-1/2 throughout. This is no ordinary chair, ANTIQUE and in great vtg Condition. Few light indents here and there however NOTHING that would even show up in a picture. The cherry color of the wood with the tiger oak grain sets this chair apart from all others not to mention the extraordinary carved details throughout the piece. The lion heads and carved front feet make this chair one in a million. VERY old, well maintained. This has only been used as a show piece for the last 35+years and shows normal vtg usage wear. A PRIEST IN VILLAGE OF CLYDE NEW YORK USES THIS SAME TYPE OF CHAIR… Chair measures APROX 39-1/2 from the floor to the top of the back. 27″ Long x 20-1/2″ Wide measured from front to back.
