You are looking at Pioneer KP-5800, very rarely available old school shaft-style radio and cassette deck! Made in Japan, dates back from the early 80’s (1981), It will blend in nicely in many classic cars of the late 70’s – early to mid 80’s period. Standard single DIN size. As shown in the images, it comes in excellent cosmetic condition. Complete, with original faceplate, knobs&tone levers! Nicely preserved despite the age. The FM tuner (F) works perfectly, with high sensitivity, as well as station presets (pull out the knob on desired frequency than put it back inside). Cassette player also works as supposed, as well as the FF/REW switch. Fully illuminated – exactly as pictured (dial + stereo indicator bulb). 2 speakers channels – sounds very clear and powerful, as expected from the Pioneer. With wiring harness – power and speakers plugs – exactly as pictured. Additional “inner” faceplate with mounting brackets included. All of the photos are original! You are looking at Pioneer KP-8300, nice and very rarely available vintage shaft-style radio and cassette deck. Made in Japan, and dates back from the late 70’s (1977). It will blend nicely in many classic car of that era. Standard single DIN size. As shown in the images, it comes in very good cosmetic condition. Few normal marks of ware here and there. Complete, with faceplate, genuine knobs and rings. There is also an additional small DIN “box” – as shown in the images. The faceplate is not original, but it is universal, in great shape and fully compatible with the model. Tuner works perfectly, with high sensitivity, as well as station presets (pull out the knob on desired frequency than put it back inside). Cassette player also works, which is usually not the case – but please note, it seems to have very sensitive mechanism, and sometimes it will eject some tapes. While inserting the tapes, please don’t do it slowly, not forcibly. Fully illuminated – exactly as pictured. 2 speakers channels – sounds very clear and powerful, as expected from the Pioneer. In order to start it, the left main knob needs to be “pulled out”. With wiring harness – power and speakers plugs – exactly as pictured. All of the photos are original!
