This offering is for an antique early 20th century hand made Adirondack style twig basket. The basket is made of stacked and nailed branches and it retains a very early if not original blue painted surface with a great untouched patina. The basket measures app. 16″ high to the top of the handle and the body measures 9.5″ by 11. The condition is very nice but it’s a little loose and could stand to be tightened up a bit. It displays beautifully and can be carried empty with ease but I don’t think I would recommend carrying it with a load in it. There is typical wear to the surface and the corner joints some cracks in the ends on the branches and scattered paint losses.
