Beautiful vintage stamped and repousse sterling silver Navajo concho belt with GORGEOUS detail! Very “pawn-style” with nice patina. This belt features a total of 11 sliding conchos plus the buckle for a total of 12 conchos. Each concho measures about 2.25″ long and 1.5″ wide. This is a GREAT size because the conchos will go through the belt loops of many jeans. The length is 36 long, but if that’s not your size, it can easily be resized by simply removing conchos to make it smaller. Or if you need it bigger, have a leather person make you a new belt this would be a very simple belt… These types of belts to slide conchos on are very simply made without any stitching. Each concho easily slides on the leather belt for easy adjustment. The weight of this belt with the leather is about 250 grams, so it’s a sturdy piece. My guess is it was made in the 60’s or 70’s, but I don’t know for sure. This piece is not signed, but the buckle is stamped “Sterling”.
