The rabbet opening on the back is approx. 26 3/4 by 26 3/4 inches. Solid substantial frame in good tight condition. 1940s or so + or minus. No label but it has the typical Newcomb Macklin gussets in the back corners. Metal leaf over deep carving. Some minor dings to surface but no chips or missing pieces. Nice old original surface.
