This is an original signed Old Hickory table from the mid-century. Old Hickory Martinsville Indiana is burned in the table on the bottom. See Photos This Signature dates the table as 1950s. This is a rare table as we could not find any other like it other than an advertisement. We also included the ad which referred to this style as wire brushed. The table has 5/8 rattan weave on 2 sides including the shelf. The table is solid and in good condition with the following notations. One side of the top has a missing piece of rattan on the end -see photos. A few of the screws are different (Pan head vs Countersunk). Top has a few scuffs and 2 rings with 2 small pit marks (1/8)-see photos. Mark on bottom of one side of shelf – Not visible from side. Weight 31 lbs.
