I have for sale this beautiful and unusual antique old wicker high backed bench or settle. 59 1/2 ” long x 21″ deep x 46 1/2″ high (the seat is 18″ high). It is a fabulous and beautifully constructed piece made of old heavy wicker with delicate woven patterns. The wicker has been painted white. The seat has heavy gauge SPRINGS encased in a wooden frame. It too is solid and heavy construction (see photos of underside of seat cushion). The seat can easily be lifted and removed for transportation or storage. The upholstery is clean and in excellent shape. We have taken the photos outside in an attempt to capture the condition of the piece. There may be some wear commensurate with age and usage but, overall the wicker is in really very good to excellent condition. Please note that there is a small area approx. 4 long and one approx. 2 long on the outside of the right arm of the bench that has strip of wicker depressed or missing (see close up photo). This bench makes an eye-catching, stunning statement and would make a wonderful addition to any sunroom, porch, or hallway. It’s really comfortable!
